Try a W3. Visually post the W's in the left side of your brain to guide the dialogue and keep you on track.
You can do this in one minute or less, or you can turn it into a longer and more formal version by adding more details to each of the key points.
For example:
Our company has an interesting history that began more than 25 years ago with two guys and a writing workshop in Toronto... (When)
We currently offer a number of unique communication training opportunities including... (What)
And as a bonus to our global clients we deliver workshops in more than 20 countries around the world... (Where)
A clear, concise answer in one minute, or the outline for a longer story about your company. You decide.
By the way this is also an entertaining party trick if you have a story to tell and don't want to ramble!
