2007 saw Ascent scale new heights as we were presented with an Outstanding Contribution Award from the Dubai Quality Group. This DQG award was just recognition for Ascent ‘s efforts in continually bringing relevant training programs and speakers to Dubai’s business community.
Speaking about the award, Triptta Fernandez, MD of Ascent, said, the contribution we have been recognized for, is bringing highly robust, workable and globally used models to the business community. The two areas we focused on were Communication and Leadership.
In the area of communication we have introduced Think On Your Feet™; A program which shows you clear ways in which one can achieve clarity, brevity and impact. We had 140 people attend the seminar run by DQG and had to finally shut doors since we ran out of seating.
In leadership we have brought the renowned Situational leadership® model to this region. A model which focuses on both, Performance and Motivation, I believe, it will provide a strong foundation to any new leader and would assist ALL existing leaders in bettering their leadership style.
