The Whole Brain Approach to Management Development is based on The HBDI; a profiling tool that measures ones thinking preferences. It is these thinking preferences that guide our every day actions, from something as basic as how we speak to how we take our decisions.

The Whole Brain Approach, an organizing principle of mental processes, presents a unique new method of diagnosing business situations. It provides an understanding of key presentation and communication issues that have resisted meaningful measurement until now.

The program consists of 5 modules. Some of the elements in these modules include:

 

Module 1:

indent-arrow-2Interpreting one’s own profile.
indent-arrow-2Identifying strengths and weaknesses in one own profile.

 

Module 2:

indent-arrow-2Understanding the communication style of the different thinking preferences.
indent-arrow-2Recognizing the type of communication preferred by the different quadrants.
indent-arrow-2Practicing adapting ones communication style.
indent-arrow-2Recognizing the impact of one’s own communication style on the perception of your leadership style.

 

Module 3:

indent-arrow-2Understanding the time management style for each quadrant.
indent-arrow-2Recognizing the different areas one tends to procrastinate based on your thinking preference.
indent-arrow-2Managing our time based on our thinking preference.

 

Module 4:

indent-arrow-2Defining a problem.
indent-arrow-2Whole Brain walk around with the problem (allocating the problem to the right quadrant).
indent-arrow-2Using the whole brain walk around to analyze the best solution.

 

Module 5:

indent-arrow-2Identifying readiness levels.
indent-arrow-2Recognizing our styles.
indent-arrow-2Recognizing the impact of our styles.
indent-arrow-2Learning how to adapt our style.
