Values - Corporate & Leadership Culture

Values : This has two definitions as understood.

  1. Posters on walls of 'nice, motivating words 'defined by ad agencies, such as integrity, Leadership, open communication.
  2. A value set the organization wishes ones employees will live by whilst achieving the business objectives, dealing with colleagues, customers, principles and suppliers. And would be vastly reflective in their behavior.

Corporate culture: How does one define culture!, culture is a collective sense one gets when a mass of people behave in a similar sort of way, hence the corporate culture will be the predictive response of behavior to situations in a company.
Leadership Culture: exactly the same as corporate culture; it is the collective predictive response to situations in an organization by the leadership of the origination.

Where am I going with this?

I want to establish that a connection exists between not just the vision to strategy to profits and a very strong dependency on the loosely used terms as well.

The series of articles here is to deal with every step in moving these Vision statements (also as posters on wall sin man cases) to performance on one hand whilst active looking at the alignment of People, including Business stake holders , corporate culture leadership, frontline staff to the Vision , strategy key success factors , jobs and tasks.

Dr Paul Hersey, Ken Blanchard and ..... Developed a vision to result model in their book Management of Organization behavior.

I will be using their model, along with some practical examples of implementation successes and failures in organization from my experience.
