Using Assets in a crises you would probably reduce the down time but marginally, you would extend the servicing due time, you would still provide fuel; you would increase the run time but never go beyond the max range. Example the rpm in a car, one never drives it to the red zone.

And you would repair and change parts (maybe to cheaper parts, but new parts all the same)
