Measurement
Return on Investment is a key factor in choosing any learning and development initiative. Ascent understands the business implications behind the selection of both the program and the personnel who will attend. We work closely with our clients to define measurement tools to visibly demonstrate ROI whether it be quantitative or qualitative. While many of our programs are behavioral, there are many measurement parameters that can be applied such as assessment tools, observed behavior or Key Performance Indicators.
Customization
Ascent recognises that every organization has its own unique way of doing business, corporate culture and core values. Based on these differences, our expert facilitators customize our programs to meet the exacting needs of a company and their people. The scope of our customization can be as basic as selecting a particular module and as elaborate as developing case studies or building simulations specific to that sector or even that company.
Methodology
Ascent programs are comprised of a mix of experiential learning techniques because we believe this is the most effective means of knowledge transfer. We find that the more interactive the program, the better response and accumulated learning that takes place. These activities could include teambuilding scenarios, creating/analysing case studies, taking part in business simulations or simply practice sessions to re-enforce program content.
Sustainability
Knowledge does not guarantee skill. Ascent ensures that delegates gain knowledge and practice the new techniques, behaviors and concepts. We also work with organizations to build sustainability into their business over the long term because without it, you haven't implemented real change. Sustainability tools can include refresher courses, monthly tips and reminders, on-line forum memberships or follow-on courses to build on prior learning.
